The most magical time of the year is almost here! Walt Disney World has officially announced the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for the 2026 holiday season, bringing festive entertainment, holiday overlays, exclusive character meet-and-greets, seasonal treats, and plenty of Christmas magic to Magic Kingdom. If you’re planning a holiday vacation to Walt Disney World, here’s everything you need to know before tickets go on sale.

What is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed holiday event held on select nights at Magic Kingdom during November and December. Guests can enjoy shorter attraction wait times, exclusive entertainment, complimentary holiday treats, specialty merchandise, and festive décor throughout the park.

Party guests can also enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m., even though the event officially begins at 7:00 p.m., giving visitors extra time to enjoy the park before the holiday festivities kick into full swing.

As always, earlier party dates typically offer lighter crowds compared to the nights closer to Christmas.
Ticket Sale Dates

Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets beginning July 9.
Tickets become available to the general public on July 16.
Discounted pricing will once again be available for eligible Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.
Meet Disney Characters in Their Holiday Best

One of the biggest highlights of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is the opportunity to meet rare Disney characters dressed in their festive holiday outfits.
Disney has already confirmed appearances by:
- Anna and Elsa at Princess Fairytale Hall
- Jack Skellington dressed as Sandy Claws alongside Sally
- Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their special holiday attire

Visit Santa at Storybook Circus

Santa Claus returns to Storybook Circus during the party at Santa’s Christmas Carnival.
Families can visit Santa, enjoy holiday-themed crafts, and experience festive activities near Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Barnstormer, making this area a must-visit for younger guests.
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade

One of the most beloved holiday traditions returns with Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade.
Guests can enjoy:
- Dancing gingerbread men
- Marching toy soldiers
- Holiday floats
- Ballroom dancers
- Disney characters dressed for Christmas
- A special appearance by Santa Claus
Since the parade travels from Frontierland to Main Street, U.S.A., there are plenty of excellent viewing locations throughout Magic Kingdom.
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks

Hosted by Minnie Mouse, this spectacular nighttime fireworks show combines classic Christmas music with dazzling projections on Cinderella Castle, synchronized lighting effects, and breathtaking fireworks.
Guests looking for an elevated experience can also purchase the returning Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party, which includes reserved viewing and festive desserts. Reservation information will be announced at a later date.
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration

Cinderella Castle comes alive during this energetic stage show featuring live performers and favorite Disney characters including Clarabelle Cow, Daisy Duck, Woody, and many more.
Filled with holiday music, dancing, and plenty of Christmas cheer, it’s one of the signature entertainment offerings of the evening.
Frozen Holiday Surprise and Dance Parties

Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the Snowgies once again transform Cinderella Castle into a sparkling winter wonderland during Frozen Holiday Surprise.
Throughout the park, guests can also join themed dance parties featuring Disney DJs, music, and festive fun for all ages.
Holiday Ride Overlays

Several Magic Kingdom attractions receive special holiday enhancements during the party, including:
- Space Mountain
- Tomorrowland Speedway
- Mad Tea Party
- Jungle Cruise
- Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor

Guests attending the event will have access to exclusive 2026 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party merchandise available at the Emporium.
Disney says even more holiday collectibles and festive apparel will be revealed closer to the start of the season.

No Christmas party would be complete without cookies and hot cocoa!
Guests will once again receive complimentary holiday cookies, festive beverages, and seasonal snacks at designated treat stations throughout Magic Kingdom. Locations will be listed on party maps and inside the My Disney Experience app.
Disney also teased that Disney Eats will soon reveal the complete lineup of specialty holiday food and beverage offerings available during the event.
