Disney+ just dropped the trailer and key art for “The Doomies,” and it looks like a lot of fun. The animated supernatural comedy-adventure hits Disney+ on June 26 with a full 22 episode run of half hour episodes. And if that’s not enough, there’s also a short form series launching alongside it with four episodes: Doug Unfiltered, Ghosted By A Ghost, Creepy Crepe, and What Is That Thing?
The voice cast includes Max Mittelman as Bobby, Madison Calderon as Romy, Noel Gibson as Kim, Jon Bailey as Doug, and Zehra Fazal as Jenny.
The series comes from Academy Award-nominated studio Xilam Animation, co-created by Andrès Fernandez, Pozla (aka Rémi Zaarour), and Henry Gifford. Fernandez also directs all 22 episodes.
On the festival circuit, The Doomies is competing at the 2026 Annecy International Animation Film Festival in the TV Films category, no small deal. The episode Night of the Fishing Dead was chosen from over 2,400 submissions and will screen during the festival June 21-27, just days before the Disney+ premiere.
