Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 3 News! Magic is coming back one last time. Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, the continuation of the Emmy Award winning Wizards of Waverly Place, is set to return this summer across Disney+, Disney Channel, and Disney Channel On Demand for a final adventure.
This season brings something especially exciting behind the scenes. Executive producer Selena Gomez steps into a new role as director for the premiere episode. She will also return on screen as Alex Russo in several episodes, giving fans more of the character that helped define the original series.
Familiar faces are also making their way back. Jennifer Stone returns as Harper, Alex’s loyal best friend who appeared throughout all 106 episodes and both films of the original run. Gregg Sulkin is also back as Mason Greyback, the fan favorite werewolf who joined the story in its final season.
The story picks up with Billie, played by Janice LeAnn Brown, who is still struggling after losing Alex at the end of season two. Determined to save her mother, Billie learns that her only chance is to reconnect with her long lost father. As the Russos come together once again, their journey becomes more than just a rescue mission. Billie begins to understand that their strength lies in each other, and that unity may be the only way to overcome the growing darkness threatening their family.
It all builds toward one final chapter filled with heart, humor, and just the right amount of chaos that made fans fall in love with the Russo family in the first place.
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place also stars David Henrie as Justin Russo, Alkaio Thiele as Roman Russo, Max Matenko as Milo Russo, Taylor Cora as Winter, and Mimi Gianopulos as Giada Russo. Writers Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas executive produce with Gary Marsh, Jonas Agin, Rick Williams, Gomez, and Henrie. Wizards of Waverly Place was created by Todd Greenwald.
