Shanghai Disneyland has officially completed track installation on its highly anticipated Spider-Man roller coaster, and this is a major step toward opening day for the park’s first ever Marvel themed attraction.
The coaster will anchor a brand new Spider-Man themed land at Shanghai Disneyland, which broke ground back in May 2025 and has been moving fast ever since. The ride went vertical in September 2025, track installation began in January, and now Shanghai Disney has confirmed the final piece of track is in place. The attraction may even be called “W.E.B. L4UNCH//R or WEB Launcher” based on lettering spotted on construction supports, though Disney has not made an official announcement on the name just yet.

L4UNCH//R” or WEB Launcher has been spotted on support columns around the coaster, which many fans believe points to the ride’s eventual name. It would fit perfectly within the W.E.B. (Worldwide Engineering Brigade) storyline established in other Marvel attractions across the Disney Parks, tying this new coaster into a larger Marvel universe narrative that guests are already familiar with.
