If you have been to Disneyland and Walt Disney World, one thing you may notice is the difference in character meet and greets. At Walt Disney World, most character meet and greets are set up in a specific location for each character. Occasionally you may see the character heading to their spot or on special occasions you may have seen characters wandering in an area but for the most part the space is set where they will be. In Disneyland, as you are walking around, you will see a character roaming around the park. The attendants that accompany the character will usually mention for you to not form a line but to engage with the character while they walk.
Today, Disney dropped the dates and more information in regards to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. In the announcement today, the section titled “Exclusive Character Greetings” they mentioned:
“For even more creepy character fun, keep your eyes peeled because you may see new and returning Disney Villains appear as you creep by through the streets.”
Of course, some characters will have their set meet and greet locations such as Jack and Sally, Mickey and Minnie, Winnie the Pooh and friends. Hopefully, this does mean, that some character will be roaming around the park. I have to admit, I’m usually not one to go and wait in line to meet any character, but when they are roaming and you can get a quick photo with them, it’s fun.
