Star Wars Weekends Throwback Party and More! Star Wars Weekends were hugely popular years ago at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Do you remember? For a few set weekends in the Spring, the Studios had extra Star Wars characters on hand, celebrity motorcades (“Legends of the Force”), the “Hyperspace Hoopla” dance-off, specialized merchandise at “Watto’s Grotto,” and “Symphony in the Stars” fireworks, plus the dance party featuring DJ Lobot. Star Wars Weekends were held annually, roughly 1997–2015 and so many fans miss it. Well, what if you could attend a Star Wars Weekend themed dance party once again? Sounds great, doesn’t it? The House of Mouse Expo is happening that weekend, where you can meet some of your favorite Disney celebrities, shop some magical vendors, listen in on panels, participate in a cosplay contest and more! Each year, a Saturday night after party happens, and this year Star Wars is the theme. There will also be some special Star Wars guests on hand at the expo that weekend; Emily Swallow, Chris Bartlett and Daniel Logan. Another celeb will be announced soon! The Star Wars 501st will also be there at the show! Our celeb lineup that has been announced so far is pretty magical! As for the after party, DJ Elliot will be spinning some of your favorite nostalgic music from Star Wars Weekends! Sounds like a good time, doesn’t it?
