Beginning February 6th, guests can “swing by” and check out a brand-new 25th anniversary novelty inspired by one of Disney California Adventure’s most recognizable icons: the Pixar Pal-A-Round. This fun new bucket isn’t just for show , it features “Magic Inside” technology that reacts at select locations throughout both theme parks, lighting up with different colors and patterns that are sure to catch your eye. The interactive effects add an extra layer of storytelling to certain lands and attractions and even enhance select nighttime spectaculars with a little extra pixie dust.
This first of its kind Pixar Pal-A-Round bucket will be available for purchase starting February 6, while supplies last, at the locations listed below:

The Pixar Pal-A-Round has been a centerpiece of Disney California Adventure Park since opening day in 2001.
Originally debuting as the Sun Wheel, the massive Ferris wheel reflected the park’s early California theme. In 2009, it was rethemed to Mickey’s Fun Wheel, featuring Mickey Mouse’s smiling face and adding its now famous swinging gondolas, a thrill that quickly became legendary among guests.
In 2018, with the arrival of Pixar Pier, the attraction was reimagined once again as Pixar Pal-A-Round. Mickey was replaced with beloved Pixar characters displayed on rotating panels, celebrating stories from Toy Story, Inside Out, The Incredibles, and more ; while keeping the mix of fixed and sliding gondolas intact.
Today, Pixar Pal-A-Round stands as both a nostalgic icon and a symbol of how Disney California Adventure has evolved over its 25-year history still towering over Paradise Bay and delivering views (and screams) just like it has for decades.
