Find Merchandise on MDE – Now Testing! I think we have all been there. We see some Disney merchandise, maybe online, that we just have to have. Someone says it’s available at say The Emporium. Great! So you be bop over to Magic Kingdom to find what you’re looking for and it’s sold out. Always a huge bummer, I’ve been there multiple times. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to check the MDE app to see what other locations have your sought after items? Well, Disney is in the testing phases of doing just that, but currently just for the World of Disney Store at Disney Springs. Take a look.
Previously, Disney did have this feature on their app which was extremely convenient. At some point, for whatever reason, it was done away with. But now, it looks like Disney is testing to bring this feature back. Being that it’s just in the testing phase, you cannot search their full inventory, only select things. For example, I searched for Christmas merchandise and only a few things came up. Now, this may change, I truly hope it does. This is a fantastic feature and I’m hoping testing goes well so we can have this merchandise search on a regular basis. Check your MDE app and see if you have it to try out.
