“Haunted Mansion” Star Terence Stamp has Passed. We have learned some sad news today. Beloved actor Terence Stamp has passed away at the age of 87.

The British actor was known for playing General Zod in the “Superman” films, and of course had a role in Disney’s “The Haunted Mansion” (2003) as Ramsley the butler with Eddie Murphy. Star Wars fans know him as Chancellor Valorum in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Stamp was also in one of my favorites, Yes Man with Jim Carrey, among many others.
In its statement, Stamp’s family noted his “extraordinary body of work, both as an actor and as a writer that will continue to touch and inspire people for years to come.”
Our hearts and prayers go out to Terence Stamps family and friends. He will certainly be missed.
