EPCOT: Test Track Original Soundtrack Available Today! Walt Disney Records announces the release of the EPCOT: Test Track Original Soundtrack, featuring music by composer Zain Effendi, whose previous work includes Oga’s Cantina at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Walt Disney World. The soundtrack—available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music and other digital platforms—draws inspiration from the redesigned Test Track presented by General Motors. Effendi’s compositions reflect the exhilaration of a high-speed, futuristic adventure fueled by innovation and design. The soundtrack is executive produced by Tricia Holloway and produced by Brett Swain.
For the newly reimagined Test Track at EPCOT, composer Zain Effendi created an entirely original seventy-minute score that captures the spirit of progress, imagination, and velocity at the heart of the attraction. A longtime admirer of Walt Disney’s futurist vision for EPCOT, Zain spent nearly fifteen months collaborating closely with Walt Disney Imagineering to develop music that doesn’t just accompany the ride – it propels it. The result is a bold, genre-defying score that fuses sweeping orchestral motifs with cutting-edge electronic production. From high-intensity drum and bass rhythms to atmospheric progressive rock elements, the music ventures into uncharted sonic territory – while staying rooted in the emotional storytelling and sense of wonder that define Disney’s musical legacy. It’s both a forward-looking soundscape and a heartfelt tribute to the enduring partnership between EPCOT and General Motors, and to the limitless possibilities Walt Disney envisioned decades ago.
