2025 has zipped by — but that just means we’re edging closer to some of the most magical moments of the year at Disneyland Resort. Plus, with the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration still going strong, we’re excited to let you know that the autumn vibes and spooky thrills will be particularly unforgettable.
You may be wondering what Halloween, autumn and anniversary experiences you can look forward to at the Disneyland Resort. Broom-stick with us to find out!

Halloween at Disneyland Park
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is set for Aug. 22 to Oct. 31, 2025. Get ready for a ton of classic Halloween magic returning, as all the beloved fall sights, sounds, and flavors fill the resort. You’ll see signature decorations like warm orange lights, bunting, leaves, and, naturally, an uncountable number of pumpkins making a comeback.

Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their pals are all set to dazzle this Halloween with vibrant new outfits showcasing a mix of purple, green, and orange — a fun take on their 70th Celebration costumes! Don’t forget to wave and grab a picture.

At Disneyland, the cherished Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction takes you on a journey where the spooky vibes of Halloween meet the enchanting spirit of Christmas. It’s a must-visit for fans of “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” looking to catch up with Santa Jack, Sally, and Zero in the creepy mansion.

Check out “Halloween Screams,” the nighttime show packed with spooky projections and cool effects featuring night creatures and Disney Villains like Hades and Ursula. Are they really evil, or just a bit misunderstood? On certain nights, you might even enjoy fireworks lighting up the Disneyland sky during your experience.
Disney’s Happiest Haunts Guided Tour reveals spooky tales and exciting adventures during a two-hour stroll through Disneyland park. This tour offers Lightning Lane access to a chosen attraction and a reserved spot for “Halloween Screams.”

Halloween at Disney California Adventure Park
Radiator Springs is getting a spooktacular makeover — Radiator Screams — with Halloween themes like Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween and Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree. Lightning McQueen and his buddies will join in on the fun, all decked out in their awesome car-stumes!
In the evenings at Avengers Campus, make sure to catch Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark. Groot is stuck in the Collector’s Fortress, which is crawling with monsters. You and your friends need to join forces with Rocket to keep the creatures busy and get Groot out of the mayhem before they nab you!

There’s something exciting happening at the Disney Theater for both kids and those young at heart… it’s Mickey Mouse and his friends getting all dressed up to celebrate Halloween in “Mickey’s Trick and Treat“! This fun interactive show will take the place of “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” for the fall season, bringing in the spooky vibes without any actual frights. Plus, you’ll get to take home a special treat!

Halloween Food and Drink
There’s no better time to dive into something super tasty, like the Oogie Boogie lemonade that’s back and the new jalapeño-cream cheese bread. Make sure to look out for fresh limited-time snacks and beloved flavors making a comeback all around the resort.

Must-See Halloween Merch
Embrace the Halloween vibe with the Mickey Mouse Family Halloween Collection, ideal for bringing a fall feel to your trip! Stay tuned for more collections coming soon.
You can find these seasonal items at certain spots around the resort, like World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District, Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure park, and Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A., in Disneyland.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit all Over Disneyland Resort
Everyone’s a winner at Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit! From August 29 to October 31, you can grab an activity map to help you find Disney-themed pumpkins scattered throughout Disneyland park, Disney California Adventure park, or Downtown Disney District. Hunt them down, finish the map, and trade it in for an awesome prize.

Halloween Fun at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort
Discover what décor could be lurking around the corner at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort. Characters will be in their Halloween attire, and you can meet them at Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates Halloween and at Mickey’s Autumn Adventures at Storytellers Cafe.
Overnight guests at the three hotels can enjoy special perks, such as treat trails on select afternoons and the option to purchase a Halloween-themed in-room celebration, which includes festively themed gift baskets and decorations. Check Disneyland.com/offers to see a list of available discounts to save on a stay.
For the first time, Broken Spell Lounge at the Disneyland Hotel will feature a cocktail menu themed to Disney Villains!
You’ll discover a skeleTON of seasonal delights at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa! Watch pumpkin carvers turn gourds into a masterpiece, feast your eyes on a confectionery display in the lobby and treat yourself to Halloween-inspired treatments at Tenaya Stone Spa.

Plaza de la Familia 2025
Watching Pixar Animation Studios’ “Coco” always reminds us to treasure the everlasting bonds of familia. If you also love the warm feelings of tradition and remembrance, you won’t want to miss the return of Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure park, Aug. 22 through Nov. 2, 2025.

This heartfelt celebration at Paradise Gardens Park, inspired by the spirit of Día de los Muertos, will once again feature live entertainment from the “Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco!,” delicious Mexican cuisine, artful crafts and a special photo opportunity with a hand-animated dimensional figure of Miguel. You may also continue a tradition of visiting the Mexican Árbol de la Vida (Tree of Life) and adding a note of remembrance to the memory wall.
Releasing in early September, the new Disney Pixar Coco Collection will introduce new apparel, accessories, headwear and more inspired by the film.
