Disneyland Resort 70th New ‘World of Color’ Voting, MagicBand+ and More! Disneyland Resort is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year and we are beyond excited! In an update to the running guide to its 70th anniversary celebration, Disneyland Resort announced new interactive features, photo enhancements and a new guided tour that will debut when the festivities begin May 16, 2025.
Each evening, Disney California Adventure Park guests will have the opportunity to vote on which Emotion from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Inside Out 2” will be featured in certain scenes throughout both showings of the nighttime spectacular “World of Color Happiness!” Eligible guests will be able to vote for Sadness, Anger, Disgust or Envy on the Disneyland app, ahead of the first performance of the night.
MagicBand+ will unlock unique effects at five interaction points in the original lands of Disneyland Park, inspired by some of the park’s opening day attractions.
Bookings will open April 24 for A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour, a two-hour add-on experience that explores the heritage of Disneyland Park.
Disney PhotoPass service will introduce new photo enhancements with anniversary flair throughout the celebration, such as themed Magic Shots and Disney PhotoPass Lenses
