Just hours ago, guests at Disneyland Paris were surprised with a rare and stunning sight – Snow!

The year’s first snowfall in Paris, which is part of a cold weather system in France, delivered a spectacular dusting of fresh, white snow on the park’s iconic Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant (Sleeping Beauty Castle) and throughout the resort.

As you may know, Paris can average as little as three days of snow a year – and there have been years with nearly no snowfall – so, snow in the park is a special occurrence we wanted to share with you.

After a couple of inches of snow fell overnight in Paris, cast members captured today’s amazing photos of our popular snow-covered attractions, including Big Thunder Mountain, Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Phantom Manor and more.

Today’s snow comes at an exciting time – just days before the world-renowned, five-star Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris reopens to guests on Jan. 25!

As we shared, every inch of the hotel’s interior has undergone a complete reimagination – and it’s all inspired by Disney royal stories, such as “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “Cinderella,” “Sleeping Beauty,” “Sword in the Stone,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Aladdin,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Tangled,” “Frozen,” “Moana” and “Raya and the Last Dragon.” Here’s more.
