Biggest Disney Nursery Trends for 2022

  • Analysis of Pinterest and Google data reveals the most popular nursery design trends for next year
  • Star themed nurseries are the most popular choice, followed closely by sky, woodland, Winnie The Pooh and Moana
  • Disney’s Star Wars, Peter Pan, Dumbo and Toy Story are also all trending for 2022
  • The most popular color for a nursery for 2022 is neutral green, and the top choice for an animal-themed design is an elephant

From Disney characters to landscapes and the weather, a new study from find-a-tradesperson platform “Rated People” reveals the top 20 most popular nursery décor styles of 2022.

Relaxed, nature-inspired designs with soft palettes dominate the top 20, and star-themed nurseries take the top spot as the most popular trend.

To develop the ranking, the nursery trends report calculated the total number of Pinterest boards and the total number of Google searches made for over 150 different bedroom décor trends for children. The number of boards and the search volume was combined to create an overall trend score, which was then used to rank the trends. Disney is of course one of the biggest themes for decorating a child’s room!

The Most Popular Disney Themed Nurseries for 2022

The trends report looked at which Disney themed nurseries are likely to be front and center for 2022, with classics like Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan and Dumbo all listed. Also featured are newer favorites like Moana and Tangled. Perhaps surpsringly, Disney’s iconic Frozen franchise doesn’t pop up in the top 20, which appears to favor classics such as Mickey Mouse, Bambi and Snow White. Here are some examples from Pinterest-
