Make a yummy Dole Whip Cocktail With Lime!

When you’re in the mood for a drink that’s crisp and refreshing, you’ll love making Lime Dole Whip cocktails. If you’ve had some yummy pineapple Dole Whip at a Disney theme park or if you’ve been fortunate enough to visit the Dole Plantation on Oahu, you know that it’s some good stuff. And there are so many great ways to make Dole Whip at home, in all kinds of flavors.

You’ve got some options if you like to enjoy your lime Dole whip drinks with alcohol. First of all, you can make it a margarita by adding a shot of tequila and a splash of triple sec or Cointreau. Disney serves their lime dole whip margaritas with a chili salt rim, and that’s so yummy.

It’s also great like a frozen daiquiri. Just add a shot of rum to the lime Dole whip to make it boozy. We also like using Malibu coconut rum as well, particularly if you made it with coconut milk. It has a great flavor.

To make the base drink, you need:

2 cups frozen limes (you may find it easier to slice them before freezing)
½ cup of almond milk or coconut milk if you like extra sweetness
3 TBSP granulated sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp lime juice
Lime slices (optional for garnish)

Kitchen tools you will need to make the base drink and cocktails:

Measuring Cup
Measuring Spoons
Cutting Board
Beverage Glasses

How to make Lime Dole Whip cocktail base

Using a blender or food processor add frozen lime, milk, sugar, lemon juice, lime juice and booze. Blend until smooth, stopping as needed to make sure all the chunks are blended in, about 3-5 minutes.

To make it as a Lime Dole Whip Margarita, you will need to add:

  • 1 oz tequila
  • 1/2 oz triple sec or Cointreau
  • Chili Salt for the rim, optional

To make it as a Lime Dole Whip Daiquiri, you will also need:

  • 1 oz Rum

We especially like using Malibu Rum if you’re making the drink with coconut milk. It’s also good to use the new Malibu Lime if you really want to ramp up the lime flavor.

Serve Lime Dole Whip in festive glasses with a fun straw or dessert spoon.

The Disney Lime Dole Whip is served with a tropical flower so a fun flower garnish is nice and festive.
