Celebrate National Doughnut Day with Disney Parks

Doughnuts are one of my favorite treats, and today I’m celebrating National Doughnut Day with one of my personal favorites: this amazing doughnut sundae from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor at Magic Kingdom Park. Here in Florida the sun is shining all year round, so what better way to cool off this November than with a tasty doughnut ice cream treat? This sundae consists of a glazed doughnut with cinnamon-apple topping and a scoop of handmade ice cream, all topped with whipped cream, chocolate and peanut butter chips, milk chocolate Mickey Ears and a cherry – yum!

Traveling around the world at Epcot? Stop by Refreshment Port to try a croissant doughnut with cinnamon and sugar, and you can even top it off with vanilla, chocolate or swirl ice cream. Catching a movie at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios? Order a warm glazed doughnut with cinnamon apples, vanilla bean ice cream and caramel sauce for a sweet ending to your meal. For those roughing it at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, why not stop by Roaring Fork for a Maple Bacon Doughnut?

And if you’re looking for that classic doughnut, you’ll find them all over Walt Disney World Resort at any Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company location throughout all four parks and Disney Springs.

Gourmet Donuts at The Coffee House at Disneyland Hotel

If you’re over on the west coast – you can celebrate National Donut Day at Disneyland Resort by ordering a gourmet donut at The Coffee House in Disneyland Hotel. There are plenty of delicious options including the Matcha Green Tea Doughnut with pineapple filling or the Royal Strawberry Doughnut with rich Bavarian chocolate filling.

Beignets at Disneyland Park

You can also stop by the Main Street Coffee Cart in Disneyland park for a variety of hand-crafted doughnuts. Or take a stroll through New Orleans Square and visit the Mint Julep Bar for some delicious Mickey-shaped beignets – French-style doughnuts covered in powdered sugar and made fresh throughout the day. And through Nov. 9, you’ll also find a tasty Dreamsicle beignet here decorated with a glittering orange-flavored sugar.
