TMSM Munchies: The Latest Scoop

Happy Foodie Friday Main Streeters! Welcome to the latest and greatest edition of TMSMunchies! There have been some changes and updates we want to share with you, so let’s jump right in and get you up-to-date!

It’s BAAAAAAAAACK! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the vanilla Dole Whip is back! This fan favorite was removed from the menu about 2 years ago when Aloha Isle moved to the new location, leaving the only option of pineapple to choose from. Just this week, the option returned to the menu much to fans delight!

Milkshake fans! Now is your time to be in the spotlight! The All Star resorts are getting into the milkshake business! At All Star Music, the World Premiere Food Court has debuted some new milkshake options that are definitely award worthy! The Rialto Shop, where these new concoctions are found, has some delicious options like the Cliffhanger, a chocolate milkshake with vanilla ice cream, a slice of chocolate cake (yes, a slice), and is topped with chocolate syrup. For those looking for a milkshake with a bit more kick, the Curtain Call is what’s in store! This chocolate milkshake is topped with candied bacon and Knob Creek Bourbon for the perfect finish. With different options at each All Star Resort, it’s definitely worth a trip to check them out!

Last but not least, we have recently seen an uptick in the amount of restaurants in Walt Disney World that have started the mobile ordering. It started in Animal Kingdom, spread to Magic Kingdom, made its way around the World to Epcot, and now is being offered at Hollywood Studios! Backlot Express is now the first (and only) restaurant at the Studios with this service, although we believe others will follow shortly. This service can only accept credit cards, so those on the Disney Dining Plans will not be able to use it.

So, what food options are you excited to try on your next trip? Let us know in the comments! Until next week, I wish you good eating!
