D23 and TCM will be hosting a complimentary event for D23 Gold and Gold Family on Saturday August 12, 2017 at 7:15 am at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The event will “include a private attraction experience with special guests, a delicious breakfast at The Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant and a one-of-a-kind gift created just for attendees!” The event will also include a one-of-a-kind gift created just for all attendees! Registration for the event will open for D23 Gold and Gold Family Members on 8/1 at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT on the official D23 website.
In August of 2016 TCM launched their own fan club called theTCM Backlot: The Ultimate Turner Classic Movies Fan Club. This special event will give the members of both groups a chance to ride The Great Movie Ride one last time before the park opens to the general public. TCM Backlot members have also been invited to this event and will also be able to register for the event on August 1 at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT on the TCM Backlot website.
D23 Gold and Gold Family and TCM Backlot Members will only be able to register themselves and one guest, all guests must be at least 21 years old. Registered guests will be able to check-in at 7am the day of the event and will be required to show a Photo ID. D23 members will also be required to show their D23 Gold or Gold Family Membership Card. Theme park admission is not required for this three-hour experience and park admission for the rest of the day is not included with your registration.
