TMSM’s Adventure’s in Florida Living ~ It’s Off to Work We Go

It’s Wednesday night, and time for our weekly chat.  This week we’ve been so busy, and the busy times are just going to continue!  Busy is good, right?  No time to be bored that’s for sure! Lets go!

Last Friday night, Disney invited us out to a media event at Hollywood Studios.  I wasn’t sure exactly what it was for at first, but when Disney asks us, we go!  We checked in up front and they guided us back to the building behind the Rock-N-Roller Coaster, where Club Villain and the former Club Disney used to be.  The event was basically a celebration or kick off if you will, about the Summer offerings at the Studios.  They gave us food and drinks, then lead us to preferred seating to the new Music of Pixar Live show, which is at the Beauty and the Beast Theater.  As we wrote before, the show is beautiful, it really touches your heart.  After that we went back to the building for desserts and character meets.  The desserts were all Pixar themed and were so good!  Afterwards, they had us go to a roped off area to watch the new nighttime projection show, Disney Movie Magic.  The extras the Studios has this Summer are a lot of fun, and we’re thankful to Disney for letting us get a closer look.

The rest of the weekend and up until today, has been insanely busy. We are getting ready to head to Alabama tomorrow for an event, Magic City Con. This comic convention is popular there, and the owner asked if we’d be a featured guest. Not only were we flattered, but also a bit nervous. These kind of opportunities are amazing, but also takes a lot of preparation. We have been working our fingers off, making drink coasters and lanyards to sell at our booth. I will also be signing copies of my book, which is exciting. It’s all still surreal, but I’m very thankful. If you’re in the area, be sure to come see us at Magic City Con! I’ll link their Facebook page below!

Ok, it’s back to work I go! Be sure to follow us on our social media outlets this weekend to keep up with the convention happenings! We’re on Facebook and Instagram under “themainstreetmouse” and Twitter at “mainstreetmouse.” Thank you for following along with us each and every week. I know I thank you each Wednesday, but it’s because I know in my heart, without our readers and supporters, TMSM wouldn’t exist. So, you guys are awesome, I mean it. Thanks! Until next week, sending you love, blessings and oodles of pixie dust! Wish us luck this weekend, and I’ll see ya real soon! ~M
