Beauty and the Beast fans rejoice as we have huge news for you!! This spring the Disney Parks released their super popular Enchanted Rose cup, and it has been a huge sell out hit since then. The cup is a clear cup with a light-up domed lid, and it has a plastic enchanted rose in the center of the cup. For those of you that missed the news in May, we shared with the cup which was originally released at Disneyland’s RedRose Taverne to celebrate the release of the live action Beauty and the Beast movie and the anniversary of the original animated version. When it came to the East Coast is was originally only available at Be Our Guest in Walt Disney World with a reservation. The Enchanted Rose cup has been so popular that people would stand in lines for hours to purchase it, and scalpers and “personal shoppers” would sell them at 3 times the original price before shipping. Recently we learned the cup was appearing in select park gift shops.
Today we are excited to share with you that the Enchanted Rose Light-Up Dome Tumbler with Straw is now available for purchase on the Disney Store website! The cup is a clear acrylic dome tumbler with straw and has a golden foil Beauty and the Beast logo with the Enchanted Rose in the center of the cup. The lid has a push button on top of the dome allowing you to see a range of flashing, strobing patterns that shine into cup from the LED unit in the lid which uses 3 x AG10/LR1130H 1.5V batteries. For those that are wondering the lid is not leak proof and the 20 oz. cup is not designed for hot liquids and should not be frozen. Also, it is hand wash only and should NEVER be put in the dishwasher or microwave.
