Recently the Disney Vacation Club started a remodel and expansion of their property at the Wilderness Lodge. As a part of this remodel the original DVC facility was renamed the Boulder Ridge Villas, and the new Copper Creek Villas & Cabins were announced. We now know the DVC point information for each room type at the Wilderness Lodge, including the 26 waterfront 2-bedroom Cascade Cabins. The new cabins are slated to open July 17, 2017. It was confirmed today that point sales for the new DVC property will open to the general public on April 5, 2017. DVC also announced by email that existing Disney Vacation Club members are able to purchase before the general public starting as “early as March 8, 2017.” Point pricing will be $176 per point at opening with annual dues of $7.33 per point for the 2017 fiscal year.

2-Bedroom Villa from 37 points a night. Views of Pool, Bay Lake, Woodlands, Courtyard, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge or Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. 1 king-size bed, 2 queen-size beds, 1 queen-size sleeper sofa. Sleeps Up to 8.

Cascade Cabin from 87 points a night.
Views of Bay Lake. 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, 1 queen-size sleeper sofa, 1 pull-down bunk-size bed, 1 sleeper chair. Sleeps Up to 8.
In addition to a washer and dryer and a fully equipped, open-style kitchen, each Cabin features a double-sided stone-hearth fireplace and screened-in wraparound porch with a built-in hot tub—an ideal spot for peaceful chats over steaming mugs of morning coffee.
