One thing I have discovered over the years, is that every Disney fans has something they love to collect. Whether it be park maps, pressed pennies, Disney pins, stuffed animals, t-shirts or anyone of the thousands of things, everyone has their favorite collections.
Michele has called me a pack rat because I collect lots of different things. One of the best things if you are a collector, is showing others what you have in your collection. I have so many things that I couldn’t pick my absolute favorite. With social media and the impact it has on the world, most collectors have friends online who live no where near them and they would never be able to share their collection except through pictures in email or on one of the many social media platforms. But now there is a new way. Gemr, is a social community for collectors to share their collection, see what others have and also buy, sell and trade items.
Here are some of the details about Gemr:
- It’s free to join, and users can organize, showcase, buy, sell, and trade their items on the platform
- Gemr is a place to connect with others who share the same passion as you
- Users can follow specific people, comment on items and collections and private message other collectors
- Join clubs that interest you- Disney, Disney Pins, Marvel, Star Wars, Tsum Tsums, Dolls, Funko, etc.
- You don’t have to sell your items, you can simply showcase them
Gemr is available from your desktop or your phone/mobile device with their app. You can download either the iOS or Android app for your phone, create your profile and start adding things to your collection.

3. Selfies and photos of your pets, family, etc. are very nice, but unfortunately they will not count as entries and will be deleted.
4. The winner will be randomly selected on August 24th, 2016. Gemr will contact him/her via e-mail to ask for his/her mailing address. The winner has one week to respond to this e-mail before we select a new winner.
