Holidays at the Disneyland Resort is underway and this special season brings unforgettable experiences around every corner. Let’s take a look at seven sights to see during the holiday season.

“A Christmas Fantasy” Parade at Disneyland Park
Disney characters join Santa Claus for this holiday tradition, featuring prancing reindeer, marching toy soldiers, dancing gingerbread cookies and more.

A shipment of holiday cheer that was supposed to be delivered to the Jungle Cruise skippers has been appropriated by the animals of the jungle, making for a festive seasonal safari!

'DISNEY ¡VIVA NAVIDAD!' – At Disney California Adventure Park, “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” takes over Paradise Gardens for the Holiday season, with a daily celebration inspired by the warmth and joyous spirit of Latino culture and holiday traditions. From Nov. 13, 2014 through Jan. 6, 2015, “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” offers special activities such as live Latino music, dance lessons, crafts for children and a “Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party.” (Paul Hiffmeyer/Disneyland)

Disney ¡Viva Navidad! at Disney California Adventure Park
Throughout the season, Paradise Garden at Disney California Adventure park comes alive with this musical and colorful celebration. Experience the sights, sounds and flavors of a special Latin American Christmas celebration at Disney ¡Viva Navidad!

Also continuing through the holiday season is the new “World of Color – Celebrate!” which joins returning favorite, “World of Color – Winter Dreams.” Find out how to secure your spot for the show of your choice here.

Holiday Decor at Disney California Adventure Park
One of my favorite features of the holiday season is the special themed decor at Disney California Adventure park. From the 1920s and ‘30s inspired charm of Buena Vista Street, to the oversized ornaments at “a bugs land” and the personal touches from the residents of Cars Land, there is always something unique to find every time you visit.

Winter Village at Downtown Disney District
Enjoy ice skating or browsing holiday treats and gifts in an Alpine-inspired village? Lace up your skates and join the festive fun in the Downtown Disney District!
