“The Little House” was released on 8/6/1952. This roughly 8 minute long short is based on Virginia Lee Burton’s 1942 Caldecott Medal-winning children’s book “The Little House”
The short tells the story of a little house on a little hill way out in the country built by a loving family. Then one day while the house is lonely, has lost hope and is falling apart, the great-great-granddaughter of the man who built the house. She is taken back to the country, remodeled and the family moves in and once again loves her on a little hill way out in the country.
