May Limited Release Trading Pin Review by Guest Blogger Caroline Griggs

Hello everyone, my name is Caroline! I am 16 years old and I am an avid pin trader. Today I wanted to tell you a little about to the upcoming Walt Disney World limited edition May release trading pins.

1First up coming out on the 4th, we have two super cool Star Wars pins! They are both limited release, so I would imagine they will be in stock for a long time! These will retail for $15.95

There are four pins limited edition pins coming out on May 7th!
First up we have a pin from a 2015 set featuring Disney Villains! This month is Ursula! The edition size is 3,000, and if it sells like the other pins from the set then this pin should be in stock for at least a month. The retail price is $14.96.
The second pin being released on the 7th is Disney Vacation Club pin, which you can only purchase if you are a member of the Disney Vacation Club when present your DVC membership card at point of purchase. The edition size is 2,500 and is  number 2 of 4 from a set that is being released quarterly this year. Retail price is $14.95.

The third pin releasing is from a monthly set as well. This set features “Best Friends” from many Disney movies( I’ll add a sneak peak of the whole set they previewed at the Imagination Gala from last year at the end.) This month is Mater and Lightning McQueen with an edition size of 3,000. It should be in stock for a few months, the pin from February featuring Peter Pan and Tink, is still in stock at select locations across the Walt Disney World resort. This pin will retail for $17.95.

$_35Last but definitely not least is this month’s “GenEARation D” pin that features Ariel and has an edition size of 500. This pin will only be available at Pin Traders in Downtown Disney  If you want this pin you will need to be at the store at  around 8am on May 7th to get in line, this line will be long! This pin will go on sale at 10am, but if you wait till then you will not get one. This pin will retail for $15.95

On May 21 Disney will be releasing two limited edition pins.  The first is a 2015 graduation pin  that features Chip and Dale with an edition size of 2,000 and will retail at $12.95. The second pin releasing that day will be a 2015 jumbo with an edition size of 500 that will retail for $24.95. I have no clue as to how long these pins will be in stock. The 2015 Jumbo could sell out fast, but the graduation pin should be in stock for at least a few weeks

On May the 28th the Alice and Wonderland Spectro Magic pin comes out. This pin has an edition size of 1,00 and will retail at $19.95, it should be in stock for at least a month.

Last but not least we have the Next 2015 Jumbo with an edition size of 500 and will retail at $24.95. This pin is a bit different than the last jumbo, and it features Spaceship Earth.

Here is a sneak peek of the entire best friends set! This was shown at the Imagination Gala in Epcot last September.

Looks like there will be pins coming out this month for many collectors! I hope you all enjoy!
