Disney from a Teen’s Perspective: Dinner at ‘Ohana

Ohana

In my previous article, I mentioned that I went to ‘Ohana for dinner during Spring Break. It’s such a great place to go to for both meals! I love how similar yet different breakfast and dinner are!

Food

When you check in you are greeted by lovely wait staff that walk you to your table, but not before stopping for warm bread. Once you are seated and drink orders are taken, you are brought some salad. While you are sampling salad and bread, you have some entertainment going on. You have ukulele playing and singing while you eat, it really adds to that Hawaiian feel! After your salad, you receive an assortment platter with dumplings and chicken wings, both are really good! Oh and I can’t forget the lo mein noodles with mixed vegetables that also came out. My little brother loved those!

Ohana dinner

My favorite part is when they bring out the food on the massive skewers! You get steak, chicken, and shrimp. These are all family favorites so you can imagine our plates filled to the brim with tender steak, juicy chicken and huge shrimp! All the food you get will be sure to fill you up. But don’t fill up too much. You must save room for dessert.

dessert

Everyone’s favorite time of the night is dessert. No matter where you are you look forward to the dessert. Ohana has something for the whole family. For the little ones they got little brownie cupcakes and for the adults, warm banana bread pudding. My family loves the bread pudding! My little brother and sister devoured the brownie cupcakes! Overall, this is a family favorite restaurant and I definitely hope you get a chance to try it out!

About TMSM’s Teen Perspective Writer Gabby Adani:
”Hi Mainstreeters! I’m Gabby and I’m going to be writing about Disney from a teen’s perspective. But first let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m 14 years old and have had Disney Annual Passes my whole life. Disney is literally my second home. I’m an honors student and enjoy school. My favorite sport is volleyball. I play for both my middle school team and the YMCA. I am also a huge fan of Star Wars.”
