Now that we are Disney locals instead of vacationers, we have to look at visits to the Parks in a different way. We’re not on the Dining Plan anymore these days, so we have to look around for the best value on food at the Parks. One place that I really like is Pizzafari at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The pizza there is really good for “park food” and you get a side salad along with it!
For those with smaller appetites, or for the kiddies in your group, you can also get a really great kids meal. Not only do you get an entree like pizza, macaroni, etc… but you get two sides and a drink. Most kids meals on property only come with one side dish, but not at Pizzafari. The kids pizza is the same as the regular ones, just smaller. Equally as good though. I wasn’t as hungry when I was there, so I got the kids cheese pizza with broccoli and grapes for my side dishes and I left full. It’s a great deal!
So, if you’re looking for good food and great value while at Animal Kingdom, stop into Pizzafari. It’s a great place to stop and eat, as well as relax in the nice air conditioning on a hot Florida day!
