It’s 2015! This past year has gone by so fast, but one amazing thing that I saw was the outpouring of acts of kindness that our members participated in. Every Thursday for the past year, we dedicate a spot to recognize acts of kindness with a Disney spin. Some stories are personal experiences, some are sent in by readers, some are from Disney Cast Members, but all are magical. To me, I think this is so important, and I want to thank all of you for helping us spread the love and magic. So, what’s the plan for the coming year? More of the same I hope!
We get so many stories of struggles, from all over the world, where people need the extra encouragement. Our Disney Family here at TMSM has become not just a community for Disney lovers, but also one of kindness and support for each other, no matter what we’re going through. Disney brought us together, but it’s so much more than that. I ask you, each of you, to keep the love and kindness going in 2015. Go the extra mile for someone, lend someone a sympathetic ear if they need it, be courteous to others at the Parks (don’t be That Guy!), make someone smile if you can! Even the smallest gesture can make the world of difference to someone who you might not even realize could use the positive encouragement.
I hope that our Main Streeters will continue to send us stories of Random Acts of Kindness with a Disney spin each week so that we can share with others. This is such a positive part of TMSM, and I thank you all for participating.
