It’s Thursday Main Streeters! Time for our Random Acts of Kindness Blog! This weeks blog was sent in by Dawn C, and is all about how our TMSM members treat each other with kindness and respect! She had a great experience and wanted to share with us, here’s what she had to say~
Hey just a fellow TMSMer… I wanted to tell you about a RAK I experienced today! A fellow member, Curt Schroeder and his wife, took time out of their day to help me with a school project. This was in no way Disney related and yet he not only read over my website he gave me detailed instruction on things to correct!! He then answered questions for me and praised me on my work. This is far more than I had expected when I put myself out there to have my site looked at. Curt is an amazing soul, he then at the end of it all told me my project needs to be out there for the public and wished me and my family a Happy Thanksgiving!! Can we just take a moment to recognize Curt and his lovely wife, two people whom I may never meet, but who were there for me in a time of need as this is my “final” in my class. I had spent weeks on this project and then when it came to the wire I had no one to look over it, and also felt horrible that after all my work only my teacher would see it. Curt came through and answered a prayer and gave me more than I even knew I needed with his grammar corrections. Now I had the joy of having my words heard (read) and got some friendly advice from a fellow TMSMer!! If we could recognize Curt and his wife for RAK or even just on the site I would appreciate it! Most of you know, when I created TMSM I really wanted our members to feel connected and treat each other like family! This is a shining example of what TMSM is all about! Not just a love for Disney, for also a special spot in our hearts for our fellow Disney lovers! Thanks so much Dawn, and nice job to Curt and his wife for extending the extra kindness.
