Discover Walt Disney’s Fairytale Home and its Connection to Sleeping Beauty

The Oh My Disney put out a blog in connection with the release of the Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition! The remastered version of one of the most beloved Disney movies of all time now available on Blu-ray and Digital HD.  In a earlier blog today, we told you about some of the bonus features on the media, but there is also some never-before-seen deleted scenes from the film, along with many different bonus features.  Now the Oh My Disney did talk about some of the bonus features and I will put in what they said at the bottom of this blog.  I first wanted to show the pictures of Walt’s home that he had built, per his instructions, in a fairy tale style.  The home provided much inspiration for Sleeping Beauty.  Walt had the house built in 1932, and it’s pretty amazing.

It was a truly magical experience and we could clearly recognize the inspiration Walt took from him classic home for Sleeping Beauty. Speaking of which, we promised you some bonus features and we are ready to deliver!

Now I did mention I would talk about the bonus features of the Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition.

Here’s a deleted scene called “The Fair”:

And a special featurette on the art of Maleficent:

The Diamond Edition itself has even more awesome features for you to explore. What’s your favorite part of Sleeping Beauty? If you could visit Walt Disney’s house, what would you be most excited to see?
