We’ve been noticing a new trend in dramatic eye makeup where, instead of trying to get a character’s exact look, makeup artists are striving to create a look based on the feeling or palette of a certain moment in a film.
We partnered up with our good friend Cindy Miguens, head of makeup for our favorite show, Pretty Little Liars, to create a dramatic eye makeup look that resembles the night sky Cinderella looks out at from her window, wishing she could go to the ball. Here’s a look at our inspiration:
To achieve this look, Cindy used a combination of light blues and darker, dusky hues to create the look of the night sky, and also match Cinderella’s glamorous ball gown look.
