Attention Star Wars Fans! That special time of year is upon us, Star Wars Weekends at Hollywood Studios! In addition to all the Galactic fun that these weekends offer, Disney is offering Character Breakfasts with your favorite Star Wars characters at the Sci-Fi Drive In Theater Restaurant! How exciting is that? One of our Main Streeters, Anita, was on the scene yesterday and gave us the play by play and sent us pictures! Here’s what she sent in!
1st stop…you get a commemorative Photopass card with Darth Vader’s picture on it & these pictures loaded on it. You can hear Vader breathing from the check-in area..pretty cool!!
Next you’re seated in your car, if you’re in a wheelchair, etc. request a table car…you sit in chairs encased in a car.
They bring out yummy danish to get you started.
Then some Storm Troopers come by, and you also get a choice of yogurt parfait or fruit cup.
Then, some guests come by your car for a visit!
Time for more Food!
Tatooine Sunrise – scrambled eggs, Nueske’s bacon, sausage links and breakfast potatoes.
The Kessel Run – grilled beef tenderloin on baby spinach with bacon and cheddar custard on a roasted tomato and cheesy horseradish potatoes. The filet was cooked just right, tender, & tasty.

I don’t know about you, but this Character Breakfast looks AWESOME to me! I really hope that it goes over well, which it should, and that Disney considers making Star Wars Character Meals something permanent.
