Thursdays Random Acts of Kindness ~ This one’s for YOU!

meminnie

Every Thursday, I try to acknowledge something nice that someone has done to help others, or share a story of kindness that a member sends me, with a Disney spin to it. I love reading these stories, I think it gives us all a good reminder that there are still people out who try to do kind things for others. We get stories about Disney Cast Members who extend themselves above and beyond for guests as well. How wonderful! Do you know who else is wonderful? YOU, our TMSM Fans. Here’s why.

First, let me say, I love my job. I get to research, write, and share Disney Magic to our readers everyday. TMSM started out as a hobby, and grew into something much more, thanks to all of you. There are days where I struggle, get tired, get writers block, etc. It seems like on those days, I always get an email or comment that encourages me and reminds me of why I do this, and it’s for all of you! When I write a story from the heart, or my “ramblings” as I call it, I always get a large amount of comments and personal stories that relate to what I just wrote. I can’t even begin to tell you what it means to me that you do that. The fact that our readers take a minute of their time to write me a comment or a “thank you” note is nothing short of awesome. I’ll admit, there are times when I get a message from a Main Streeter, and it makes me cry. Happy tears of course. When someone shares their experiences with me, and thanks me for sharing mine, it really does my heart good, and I’m very grateful for that.

So, today’s Random Act of Kindness goes out to you, my magical Main Streeters!! Thank you so much for encouraging me, interacting with what we do, and being so loyal and amazing to me and my staff. I wanted you to know that the kind words you say to me do not go unnoticed, they are very much noticed and appreciated. Because of you, I get the inspiration I need to keep going every day, and I promise to keep bringing you the best Disney magic that I can offer you. Thank you so very much for being so good to me! If you have an Act of Kindness that you’d like to share, please email me at michele@themainstreetmouse.com and tell me about it! ~Michele

Also, Michele is making it a priority to share stories of inspiration and hope to other Disney Fans in an effort to share the Magic and hopefully make a difference in the lives of others. ~ I enjoy writing personal perspective blogs, doing TMSM Meet Ups for our readers, and keeping the constant interaction going with others, sharing the Disney Magic to people when they can’t be at their Happy Place.
