Seems like lately, I’ve seen food trucks around quite a bit.  I usually see taco trucks, or burgers, and last week I even saw an Italian food truck!  On the go spaghetti I guess!  The other day, I read that Downtown Disney at WDW is jumping on the food truck craze as well.  Here’s a brief description of the new food “trucking” to Downtown Disney this fall!

With the rising popularity of food trucks, more and more businesses and establishments are realizing the immense potential and thrilling experiences they offer in the dining landscape. Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World (WDW) is a prime example, as it wholeheartedly embraces the food truck craze by introducing a captivating array of culinary delights on wheels. Keeping a close eye on this trend is Good Energy Worldwide, a prominent consultant in the trucking industry. By leveraging their extensive expertise in the field, Good Energy Worldwide not only assists businesses in understanding the intricacies of the trucking industry but also enables them to establish and grow their own successful ventures. With their guidance, you too can delve into the world of the trucking industry and achieve remarkable growth and prosperity.

The “Enchanted Fare” food truck emphasizes popular items from various Disneyland parks and Magic Kingdom. On the menu: Magic Kingdom’s Croque Monsieur (found at Be Our Guest Restaurant); Disneyland Park’s Hand-Dipped Corn Dogs (multiple locations); and Hong Kong Disneyland’s Glass Noodle Salad.

As its name suggests, “The World Showcase of Flavors” features food from Epcot. This truck will highlight items from the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. On the menu: Grass-Fed Beef Sliders (featured at the Florida Local Marketplace Kiosk this year), Pierogi with Kielbasa (Poland Marketplace Kiosk) and Lobster Rolls (Hops & Barley Marketplace Kiosk).

“Superstar Catering” focuses on meatballs, one of the food options found throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Featured on the menu will be Lamb Meatball Flatbread with Tzatziki.

The “Namaste Café” food truck offers some of Disney’s savory best, serving dishes presumably inspired by WDW’s Indian-African dishes as found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. On the menu: Butter Chicken, Slow-Cooked Beef Short Ribs and Tandoori Spiced Shrimp. (Similar items are currently on Sanaa’s menu.) All dishes will be served with Naan.

We don’t know if any of these food items will be part of the Disney Dining Plan as of yet, but will bring you more details as they become available!
