This is an announcement from D23. Join D23 as they unlock the magic of the upcoming Walt Disney Studios release Maleficent. Following the Annual Meeting of Shareholders at the Portland Center for the Performing Arts, D23 Members will be invited to see a glimpse of the film, which explores the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain (played by Angelina Jolie) from the 1959 classic Sleeping Beauty, and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone.
Afterwards, members will be invited to a dessert reception where they will be able to explore the world of Maleficent through a collection of props and costumes from the film that will be on display. And no D23 event would be complete without a special gift, so be ready to wear your Maleficent pride on your sleeve (or perhaps, your head) after you check in. We wouldn’t want there to be an awkward situation.

Check-in begins at 1 p.m., event begins at 1:30 p.m.
