MickeysChristmasCarol

Most everyone knows the story of “A Christmas Carol”.  It’s a Christmas Holiday staple to watch each and every year.  Disney’s version, “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” is one I’m always waiting to see.  I know ABC Family will be showing the 1983 classic on December 18th at 7:30 EST.  Having watched it in the past, have you ever noticed all the cameo’s for other Disney characters throughout the show?  Of course we have our beloved Mickey Mouse as Bob Cratchit and Scrooge McDuck as Ebeneezer Scrooge.  Here is a list of the other Disney characters that appear in the film.

Now there are a few very obvious characters such as Minnie Mouse who plays Bob’s wife Emily.  Also Donald plays Scrooges nephew Fred and  Goofy playing the ghost of Jacob Marley.

Main Characters

In one of the scenes you will see The Big Bad Wolf dressed as Santa and ringing a bell for donations while the Three Little Pigs sing beside him.

More Characters

Next time you watch the special be sure to look at the other characters in the scenes, you never know who you may see.  The movie pays homage to quite a few of the Disney characters of the past.  On the 16th of December we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film.  I know this will be on many times throughout the season on different stations, so be on the look out for it and enjoy.
